Take Time to Talk
#Tanka4T

Talking can be a great way to cope with the everyday. We wanted to encourage people to “Take Time to Talk” for World Mental Health Day and asked people to help us to do so through small photo poems.
We asked people to take a photo of their favourite cup, write a tanka in the theme of talking to someone when times are tough and how this helps or that encourages people to talk.
A tanka is a 5 line poem with 5 syllables in the first line then 7 syllables in the second line, 5 syllables in the third line and 7 syllables in the 4th and 5th line
We hope this will put the message out that if you “Take Time to Talk” it can help you feel better able to cope with life and its challenges.
Saying Thank You
Here at Red Bucket Projects we like to include everyone in our projects so don't charge a participation fee for community projects. This time we have decided to say "Thank You" to those who took part in our "Take Time To Talk" project with a little teatime treat from Soy Oi.
Soy Oi have collaborated with us before and have a great company ethos that supports and encourages the health and welfare of the planet and all of its residents.
One of our lucky community #Tanka4T poets will receive a their teatime treat so that they too can "Take Time To Talk" on World Mental Health Day.
#Tanka4T Scrapbook Film
We will be combining the #Tanka4T poems to make a short "scrapbook collection" film that will be shown on the 10th of October. The perfect excuse to stop what you are doing, grab a cuppa and watch the film and then have a chat about it afterwards!
The link below will go live on World Mental Health Day, the 10th of October at 10:00am.
